\n \nPosition Overview
\n \nMyCare Medical is seeking an experienced, motivated, Board-Certified Primary Care Physician to serve in a dual role as a practicing physician and Market Medical Officer. This position combines direct patient care with clinical leadership responsibilities, supporting the performance of primary care providers across an assigned market. The Market Medical Director will play a key role in advancing our value-based care model by improving clinical outcomes, strengthening physician performance, enhancing patient experience, and promoting appropriate healthcare utilization.

\n \nThe ideal candidate is a practicing physician who leads by example, inspires colleagues, and understands how effective primary care can improve patient outcomes and value-based care performance.
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\n• Clinical Practice: Maintain an active primary care practice, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to Medicare and Medicare Advantage patients.
\n• Physician Leadership: Serve as the market's physician leader, supporting and guiding primary care physicians and advanced practice providers.
\n• Provider Coaching: Lead physician coaching and performance improvement initiatives focused on clinical excellence and value-based care.
\n• Population Health: Support proactive management of high-risk patients and chronic conditions.
\n• Utilization Management: Drive initiatives to reduce avoidable hospital admissions, emergency department utilization, and readmissions.
\n• Quality & Documentation: Promote quality performance, accurate clinical documentation, and appropriate risk adjustment.
\n• Executive and Market Collaboration: Partner with operations, care management, and executive and senior clinical leadership to achieve company- and market-level objectives.
\n \nQualifications
\n• Graduated from an accredited MD or DO accredited program.
\n• MD or DO with active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice in good standing and active DEA license.
\n• Board certified in Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine or Geriatric Medicine.
\n• Current CPR Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
\n \nRequired Skills
\n• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in primary care, specifically in Managed Care settings servicing Medicare Advantage populations.
\n• Strong understanding of value-based care, population health, and clinical quality improvement.
\n• Demonstrated physician leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
\n• Previous Medical Director or physician leadership experience preferred.
\n• Proficient in EHR medical documentation
\n• Proficient in HCC, ICD10 coding, MRA, and utilization management preferred.
\n• Excellent bedside manners and time management skills.
\n• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to staff and to build the trust and respect of patients, clinic staff, colleagues, and external contacts.
\n• Must possess strong clinical skills, notably within managing patients with complex medical needs throughout all environments of care.
\n• Strong written, verbal, presentation, leadership and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to engage respectfully and effectively across diverse audiences, apply emotional intelligence in complex situations, and maintain composure and professionalism in all interactions.
\n• Ability to effectively work across multiple clinics and teams to optimize the performance of local clinical teams.
\n• Excellent problem-solving skills, including creativity, resourcefulness, timeliness, and technical knowledge related to analyzing and resolving medical/administrative problems.
\n• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

\n• $300,000-$310,000 with eligibility for annual performance bonus and full benefits package
